The Lord cares not for high technology!
If you were out and down and you would hear:
“Your call is so important to us dear-
Should you be dialing from a rotary phone,
Then listen first to our signal tone-
You’ll hear a beep, and after it a string
Of harp, and then you’ll hear King David sing”

If you have any question or complaint
Press “Y” and then invoke your Patron Saint.
Complaints of graver kind we do assort
In order of precedence for the Lord.
“Thank you for calling our Father’s House!”-
The angels are now busy for they browse
And scan the prayers entered yesterday
While Michael, Prince, puts on his war array.
To fight the righteous fight against the foe,
His helmet gleaming bright upon his brow.

For angel Gabriel please do wait a while
Just hold the line he’s reading in a file.
And Raphael that gathers herbs that heal
Has been invited by the Common Weal..
He is so very busy over there
To tell them all about ObamaCare.
There is a meeting and a big debate,-
Your call is so important though, - please wait!
And angels bright and fair all bounce and leap
And somersault with pleasure at the beep.

For inquiries press “2” or “ABC”
(We monitor for poem quality!)
First hit the star key and then hit the #pound,
The menu will then yet again spin round.
For reservations press the star-- and enter “J O H N”!
His register can be depended on.
For any other spirit registrar
Hit first the pound and after wards the star.

The Lord, aggrieved says "How importunate,
instead of tweeting/texting LEARN A TRADE! ". .
The Lord is not high-tech, He oversees
All mankind’s prayers petitions, thanks and pleas.
Alleluia, how thankful we must be
The Lord cares not for high-technology!
