He would rather shy from the publics eye then be seen,
Even those closest knew nothing about him
The way he played his games,
You could tell he had nothing to lose

He is lost, Nowhere to run
He is a million leaves, separate yet connected, like that of a fern
On the surface he looks happy and calm
While on the inside his mind screams,
Screams to do harm

Don’t cry for this lost soul
May as well tell the truth as it doth roll,
Insecurity should be known as the worlds largest killer
Without confidence you are left stranded in the waves
Fighting for nothing, like a lone boats tiller

You see I just make this up as I go along
But these aren’t the words to any old song
Feel the sadness and fear each line I say does radiate
Listen closely to these words, to you understand my hate?

My own father tried to kill me when I was just two
Barely able to look after myself, doesn’t that disgust you
You make joke, and you may jest
But at the end of the day,
Its just more hurt on more crest

Look at the kids that are out today
They drink and they smoke, when tomorrow comes they will pay
What about the world how its ***** so bad
A young child dies at this moment, don’t you feel sad?

Stop acting so strong, let the world see your tears
When we tear down your walls, you all have the same fears,
If you saw a homeless dying on the street
Not even socks on his cold, wandering feet,
Would you spare him a dollar?
Just a dollar that’s all
What if it was you?
All it takes is one big fall

So hear me out, I speak what I feel
How much better would the world be, if we all learnt how to heal?
Just imagine
You’re a kid in Africa,
Your family is DYING
While another country,
Spends millions on flying
We search for more planets, like our very own
Yet its still a disaster, from where we have just flown

The rich can afford to lock themselves in walls
Why the less fortunate are left for the falls
All that I ask for is a little respect
After all, not one of us is perfect
