very good write...very good questions...i lost my daddy to the bottle when i was young... it took years for me to come to terms and sometimes i still haven't

I lost my Father, because of a choice that he made. He has chosen not to see or contact me in the last 14 years. And sometimes I still wonder why he has made that choice. But I still love him and I know that I always will.

Yes it was extremely hard for me to write this. But I have found that writing about things that are very hard for me to write about can be quite healing.

Dean,
I am glad that you like this one. It was very hard for me to write this poem. I have really tried to get over these feelings that I have for my father, but it never works. So I use my poetry to work out my feels.

| Great write. I wish most dads in the world would read this poem, and ask themselves if their feels this very way. Maybe then we wouldn't see as many children rasied in neglicted (or raised only by the mother) homes. Great poem! |
