Or the fear of how they will be portrayed?

Is it all the forgotten names,
Say nothing, or admit the shame.

Is it the rain, masking the silence,
Or the echoes of a past violence.

The time of year, the turning tides,
The seasonal shift, the taking of sides.

The fact that groups seldom expand?
Only then to split, across the land.

Is that the meaning may be misconstrued?
That you don't want to appear rude?

That your paths cross everyday?
But you just smile and that will be okay.

Is it the agony of waiting?
The conversation ending?
Your next idea fading?
The regret of leaving?

Whatever the reason, they're all still stuck in your head,
All these words left unsaid. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 189 [topic] => 21 [informant] => g6379 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )
