The rain gets heavy, and our love gets blamed.
Holding out for the night, so you can guide my way.
Lost in beauty and these games we play.
Sought the answer so I ran away.
Took the the highways as the moonlight fades.
Calling out in the dark, on lonely days.
Head full of regreat holding this picture to blame.

So I ran to the moon to erase your name.
Got lost in the stars so my light can fade.
Found abuse within my heart and hidden pain.
A child left behind, hiding in shame.
So I ran to the earth and fields to lay.
Used all my patience in those games we played.
Trying to hold me head high so I can feed off the rain.
In misery set alone I stay.

I'm reaching out to find my fame.
Lost in obsecurity to hide my name.
Temples of the heart silent as they decay.
Lost in thought of love from yesterday.
Finding emptiness in these faces that hide my way.
Longing for understanding on the mistakes I made.

When all is said and done will this shadow you planted ever die away.
Will I call out your name when I'm old and grey.
As the candle fades and my light is but a memeory.
Do you still remember me my love?
Will you always remember me that way.
A lonely lover that was lost that day.
That day you dusted me off in your heart I lay. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 199 [topic] => 43 [informant] => lostrelic [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )
