Standing here so tall and proud
Saying "I love you" out loud.
Never thought life could be so good
The way it should.
Maybe this is old
But to me it's solid gold.
Inside these hands though worn from sand
A gift I bring
Although I can't sing.
Beating loudly next to you
My heart used but true
My heart used but true.
Inside these hands
Inside these hands.
Take this heart if you will,
Worn and tattered, beating still.
See the love revived again.
Let's be love, life and friends.
Beating, our love so strong
Here's my heart, your very own.

Wow, my daughter had just turned nine years old back then and I had no diea I'd ever be writing and here you were doing it all along.
Anyways, likin' it.
Also, thank you for reading and commenting on Broken Ornament. However, the pancakes are sort of a metaphor. The hateful person actaully never made panckaes...instead, he BBQ'd all the time. You would not have liked being in the situation.
But, equally on the other perspective...pancakes are sooooo good. Mmmmmm...pancakes.
