Not quite sure I get it but the imagery that came into my mind was getting beat up in grade school and junior high. I went to Catholic school grades 1-8 and then public beginning in 9th grade. This sort of reminded me of those days.

Great imagery Blood beats bells,dramatically uncomfortable expression as you deny words on to the page,Freedom from oppression allowed to breathe allowed to ask questions,knowing that pattern well I would suggest Religion was not far away from the perpetrator,Always a complete delight to see your name ,

At some point, we all wish a magician would reveal himself.
In your case, I enjoy the intensiity of pondering ....
