I'm under the weather;
At the end of my tether;
A solitary feather;

Thank God,
no river is allowed to stand still;

I think I've had my fill;
Feel like a thirsty flower
stuck on a window sill;

And even if it isn't
it's not mine to say;
Just gotta' keep movin' on
anyway...
Rapid change ain't never been easy for me;
I just slowly creep towards the sea;
My motion is imperceptible,
but it goes on unendingly;
But a better day's comin'
somewhere around the bend;
They say life ain't no destination;
it's a journey;
That puttin' down roots will end our story;
Why is it then
we strive to build our nests
in lifeless cemeteries;
A better day's comin'

Down in the dumps;
meds ain't doin' their job;
Feel like a stripped down,
dried out old corn cob;
All alone in the middle of
a cacophonic motionless mob;
