I’ve seen, read, and felt
in my core
countless stories of
girls, and women
and even the most unimaginable specimens of beauty
who’ve been torn apart by the beasts of men.
And even though I am younger than a life well lived,
I’ve felt what they’ve felt
hurt
how they’ve hurt.
So much so that I’ve decided to live my life without
wearing my heart on my sleeves
rather, keeping it locked away
where reality
can’t
reach it.

I used to be a lot like you but decided to give my love away. I found a person I thought was deserving and I gave them everything. You cannot know how amazing it is until you try it.

This person broke my heart... but I would never take it back... not if it killed me.

To be loved by someone absolutely and tell them every fear... every desire.... everything you are and know that they still love you... is well... unbelievable.

I hope that one day, you can let your guard down enough to experience it.
