And laugh with the storm.

I wanna be a firefly, mommy!
I wanna glow in the shadows
And live in my own spotlight.

I wanna be an astronaut, mom!
I wanna put footprints on the moon
And gracefully dance in the silence.

I wanna be a rock star, mom!
I wanna sing to the universe
And let everybody know my name.

I wanna be like her, mom.
I wanna be pretty
And I wanna be talented.

I wanna be like them.
Mom?
I want what they have.
Looks, style, and popularity.

I wanna be better, mother!
I wanna exceed anything that anyone could ever do.
I wanna be successful, mom.
I wanna be the best.

Mother?
I wanna be accepted...
I wanna be your little fairy again.
I wanna be your dancer.
I wanna be your rock star!
And I wanna be your princess!
I wanna be your little angel!
I don't want to grow up, mother.
