Crip Lady Coward

Contributed by Butterat_Zool on Saturday, 3rd May 2003 @ 11:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Do as I tell you.
I own your life.
Down on your knees, boy.
Now lean forward and choke yourself.

And I cry and I fly and I swoop and I cry
And the rhythm will carry my baby tonight
And I wish it were Jesus here holding my hand
I wish away demons who cripple the land.

The shadows will kill you.
They hold where I hide.
They dance and they laugh
And they match my small stride.

The fire around us
Scares me to my soul
But with my torn blankey
I’ll always be whole.

I wish we were sleeping,
But truth shall be told.
While you are inside me,
I’ll always be whole.

And I cry and I fly and I swoop and I cry
And the rhythm will carry my baby tonight
And I wish it were Jesus here holding my hand
I wish away demons who cripple the land.

Hey 1st stanza was confusing but the rest was great. Enjoyed it a lot. Way to go. Sounds like ti was written about a young kid?

That first stanza was in reference to the movie Full Metal Jacket, I had watched the movie earlier the day that i wrote this, and felt that that was an apprpriate allusion for the sense of dominating fear that i was trying to convey...
