The water bill had been paid,
And it was hot in the shade.
Our water service had been interrupted.
But we still used the bowl
In the bathroom you know.
Now the air in our house is corrupted!

My front yard once green,
Is the brownest we’ve seen.
And the sprinklers stay motionless today!
All the sweating I feel
Is what is making me ill.
I think a heat stroke is heading my way!

I heard the pipes did explode
Underneath my abode,
When a python crawled into those tubes.
The water pressure did build,
And the snake stuck under my field,
Shot through a sinkhole landing up on my roof!

If there’s a moral to me
It’s a plain thing to see.
Big snakes can have baby snakes too.
They are the right size for those pipes,
So be careful when you wipe.
Better yet wear a diaper now for life!

Snake lovers we ain’t,
Our lawnmower’s a saint.
It will send one to heaven really fast.
Here’s a truth believe you me,
Something you won’t ever see,
Is me walking barefoot in high grass!

In the Florida Everglades,
it only merely just takes days,
For one of those bad boys to slither,
To the center of the state,
Where I do live as of late,
I just might move north and
Learn to love a shiver!

Oh my goodness--I would have a heart attack right on the spot if that happened to me! Scary!

Heeheehee We have a septic tank so, hopefully, that'll never happen.
