Your voice is small and fading, your spark has gone out,
I’ll help you find your voice again, I’ll help you shout.

I’m here to protect you, from everything that came,
From the wind and the rain, the hurt and the pain.
Show you that in life, love will find a way,
Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but one day.

Until then, I will look after you and keep you safe from harm,
There’s no need for fear, trepidation or alarm.
The future is bright, a great summers day,
Come with me and I’ll show you the way.

You look so small and fragile, lost and alone,
Your feelings destroyed, your heart lays prone.

This works well.
Your style would fit talking about the problems in the world.
You should try a few topics such as abuse, war, suicide. So many possibilities.

you know your right, ive stuck with love and friendship poetry because thats where i feel safe. but yeah, maybe its time to broaden my horizons a bit, i'll try and submit something later today and see how it goes down. Thanks :-)
