Early morning haze but remember last night,
Yet from the kitchen the smell is just right,
You’re cooking breakfast for you and for me.

I recall meeting you at the local towns hop,
Spaniel eyes, Cheshire grin, I was gone,
Strange now that fried breakfast is on,
Shouldn’t we be making love with you on top?

What a night but darn this morning is hell,
All that kissing and loving for so long,
Now forgive me and don’t get me wrong,
But I’m being driven crazy by that breakfast smell.

Eggs, tomato, fries and bacon,
As seductive as the very little you wear,
You got me hooked, I’m staying right here,
Priorites right, breakfast, then maybe fun.

I was Mr Happy Single but if only I knew,
Not a bedroom but a kitchen would draw me in,
Big hearty breakfast not the original sin,
Got me now lady with your breakfast for two.
