[bodytext] => It’s been so long, feels such a long time, I have no reason and no rhyme, When I left, it tore me apart; the pain has only dulled with time. You said it was for the best, and we could still be friends, But it turns out, like all things; it came to an abrupt end. Now such time has passed, and never a word from you, And I’ve tried to move on and all the things you’re meant to do. Still you’re always there, on the edge of consciousness, the back of my mind, I thought we’d be forever, that we had a tie that binds. So now I’m meant to get on with it, to find someone else, someone new, I do want to, I really do, I’m just not sure what to do. You’ll always be there with me, till the day I die, I can’t find the right words to say goodbye. Hopefully one day I’ll get past all of this, I’ll find my way once again, I’ll be able to give my heart to another and the will not to bend. But until that time comes, I honestly don’t know what to do, Because the truth is, even after all these years, I’m still lost without you.
