Array ( [sid] => 169179 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Escape to the Wild [time] => 2011-12-10 03:52:43 [hometext] => This poem came to mind after seeing the riots of August 2010. I wondered if being alone in the wild was any safer of provided greater happiness than living within a broken society! [bodytext] => The City streets are all run down
All the people are thieving
There's nothing in this dead old town
Why not pack up and go

Grab your coat and old bus pass
While everybody is sleeping
You're getting out of here at last
To a place you don't know

Past all the drunks and broken glass
Behind the curtains they're peeping
You'll beat the sunrise if you're fast
Bid them all cheerio

You've got a dream, it's all your own
Now go and make it happen
You feel so small and alone
Was this the right way to go

A simple life is all you crave
To the wilds you travel
You find a warm and cozy cave
And you call it your home

No need for money, gas or fare
You have all you ever needed
Then you get eaten by a bear
In your cozy new home
