Are cutting through the darkness
As dawn snuggles closer to the bosom of the land.
In the silence of the forest
All ancient history is unfolding
And the badger, fox and owl fade together
Into the warm embrace of another day.
Through the coyness of the high tops
A breeze meanders slowly,
Softly, gently uplifting the gloomy essence
Of this solitary place.
The stars are hitching a ride on the moon
And the horizon parts with a murmur
Letting in light at the world's beginning. [comments] => 7 [counter] => 196 [topic] => 27 [informant] => cashfan1 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => NaturePoetry )

Hi Dennis,

And the stories are carried on the wind.

If only the badger, fox, and owl could talk.
Well, maybe they don't need to - they've got
you.

Tommy

You never fail to impress me, Dennis. Love the way you can paint pictures with words.

Picture perfect.
