[bodytext] => Phone Love A hundred years of life we’ve seen So many tales betwixt between The two of us, so much to know And yet I wish it was not so For I am one yet would be two. In this modern techno age I seek a living loving sage To help me in my lover’s quest Of a lady that I would attest Is but a friend and so much more. Every day I talk to you The day to day the fat we chew, Inside my heart does skip a beat Not happenstance but truly heat I really don’t know what to do. You sit in blissful ignorance As I play out secret dalliance What would you say if I came clean? Would you laugh, my love demean? Please tell me the course to sail. Because I’m over fifty now The fields I’ve furrowed with my plough Have taught me I should take the choice To come to you not use my voice And pledge my feelings to your face. What happens now is kismet, fate For me it may be far too late Yet try I must or I will curse In vitriol, in rhyme and verse The day I let my love go free.
