anguished
|
Not of envy or rage
Not of despair or torment,
But for her life to turn a page.
Turn as a leaf on a gentle breeze,
Begging on her knees,
"Oh, Lord, please!"
Satan hearing her cries,
He wants her, and he'll try to have her,
With all his might he tries.
Taking everything from her in life,
To try and lose everything in vain,
To never be a mother or wife.
Anger and all,
She has been made to grieve,
She has been made to fall.
She fought and prayed,
She never lost her faith,
No matter how life has changed.
She has won,
the fight of life,
for life has more than one.

wonderful poem--it seems like as a female we must always have to fight for something --like we have something to prove--keep fighting the good fight! |
