When black clouds and dark rain block every sunbeam
When noise is too much to bear
When your mind is your haven, your secret lair
When a tear is a formality
When fear is normality
When the crimson isn’t deep enough
When the cold isn’t cold enough
When the pain isn’t hurtful enough
When all is too tough
When those you love don’t love you back
When the reflection in the mirror is beginning to crack
When seeing red is your way to see the light
When falling asleep is a struggle, a fight
When everything’s dead inside
When there’s only ever a low tide
When running, fleeing, means getting too near
When too many voices means you can’t hear
When the grass is just as black over there
When you can’t face life, you don’t dare
When the hole gets wider and deeper the further you fall
When you know the only way to make them see you is to not be there at all
When your own self is too difficult to comprehend
You know all you’ve got to look forward to is the end...

Very well written I loved this immensely I can see where you are coming from the lines:
When fear is normality
When seeing red is your way to see the light
Really spoke to me thumbs up

This was a good write...It is so true...It is sad how things can't always be so wonderful and peachy, how things have to have a few thorns to make it a natural rose. ~Day~
