Array ( [sid] => 16877 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => First love [time] => 2003-05-02 06:05:00 [hometext] => In this poem I have tried to portray that exquisite feeling which I experienced when I fell in love the first time during my teens.I still remember that day vividly when I had gone on my first date with my love. [bodytext] => I still remember that golden day,
in that hot, blistering month of May,
Getting permission after lots of strive,
we had speedily gone on a long lonely drive.

Like the adventurous wild seas,
lashing at a quiet,innocent beach,
the bubbling ferocious excitement,
had broken our very powers of speech.
The vibrant,colourful birds around,
campaigned loud to get our vote,
we were just too engrossed,
to take the faintest of note.
Words seemed too petty to say anything,
our talking eyes explained everything.
Love is indeed too strange,
thoughts became our medium of exchange.
Our hearts had skipped many a beat,
we had long forgotton to unpack and eat.
Like a surging, furious volcano of water,
breaking through strong,rugged dams,
we had suddenly,simultaneously flooded,
into each other's loving arms.
The rest that happened is too blurred to list,
the world had vanished and drowned,
into passionate globules of mist.

Time may keep on flying like a dove,
I am yet to forget; my first love. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 187 [topic] => 24 [informant] => ravi [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LoveRemembered )
