Array ( [sid] => 16875 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => The Ledge [time] => 2003-05-02 05:05:00 [hometext] => kinda just one of those blah moods sat down and this is what came to mind.. not that great cuz it took bout 2 minutes to write..lol [bodytext] => A lost soul wandering trying to make it across time,
momentarily pauses to step out of line.
What is the point other than the sharpest edge,
couldn't find a rope when standing on the ledge.
In a realm that brings along disguised fear,
nothing could be any better than how they appear.
Step to the light that has been beckoning the silence,
couldn't tell anyone just went along and tried it.
A supposive guilt caused by one who left long ago,
left standing in the rain with no where else to go.
And the screams fill the air as a body was lost,
and a light still shines even after the heart stops.
Whispering tragic tales so not to ever follow,
stuck on a one track train where every car is hollow.
Fell into the earth in hopes of finally being saved,
still falling down lying peacefully in a grave.
Walk across the ground where one can finally sleep,
no different than a stranger sleeping on the street.
Laugh at the stranger who can now be alone,
discorage violence as you carve your throne.
Mimic the disgrace of those who pass by,
life hurts the more pressure that you apply.
Trapped on a ledge more painful than death,
ready to jump off the bridge in your head.
And the screams fill the air as a body was saved,
and a light still shines deep into the grave.
