It seems at times we spar around
Like the lion and the lamb.
And I can hardly tell at times,
Just which of these I am.
We don’t live in a jungle.
Home comforts are not missed.
But often dear our love life,
Feels like living in a wilderness.
This state seems like confusion.
In my heart is often pain.
The barren desert of our love,
Deeply needs infusing rain.
As the lion is so proud and strong,
And the lamb is weak and shy.
At times with you I’m happy.
And at other times I cry!
It seems at times we spar around
Like the lion and the lamb.
And I can hardly tell at times,
Just which of these I am!
