Tender hearted, you're holding back
Not a thing from your beloved.
Having your heart handed to you,
But only small pieces at a time!
A poet in the making even
Though your heart is breaking.
You’re getting better all the time.
You speak to everyone else in rhyme!

With your heart beating now quite fast,
It’s crescendo you hope will last.
The encouragement you can share
With lonely people everywhere.
Leading you now to ink your quill.
You haven’t forgotten your pain, but still
It gets duller everyday,
In time you’re sure it will go away.
When you read back those words of yours,
You realize you’ve found the cure!
You’re lonely no more!

Loneliness is not a true companion
But it is a companion it’s true!
Tender hearted, you're holding back
