Array ( [sid] => 168311 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Blaming Love [time] => 2011-11-03 02:58:13 [hometext] => People often blame their unhappiness on their relationship and end it when the real problem is their own personal issues. This causes much suffering for those on the other end of the relationship. This poem is not beautiful or eloquent. [bodytext] => You shoot a porcelain window,
and then you blame the gun,
you make yourself a living hell,
and drain your life of fun,

worries of the future...
worries of the past...
you never look inside yourself,
to find the thing you lack...

So many problems plague you,
I just wish that you could see...
we are falling into pieces...
only love can set us free...

Look into my humble heart,
and take what you may need,
I want to give you everything,
even when it makes me bleed.

There is a great amount of truth here and I couldnt agree more. Sometimes our personal BS spills out onto the other person and just puts out the flame. I love the emotion here and this line specifically.

You shoot a porcelain window,
and then you blame the gun,

Awesome line!!

Love can't make you happy! Love
is pure and simply a choice you make
and so is happiness! Choose it, and then
you can be happy while in love!
Blessings,
Rob

I love the first two lines of this poetry. Shoot and blame the gun. Comparing this to a person's statement saying "this isn't me, this is just what I'm saying." or saying "I agree with this, but I dont believe in it. Representing something, but not standing up for it. Being the cause, the originator, and unwilling to take accountability for it. I really liked this poem
