In a line or two of prose.
That is only just because
I needed you to know,
The answer to some questions,
And this is how it goes,
Will my love for you ever end?
If Eternity passes away.
When are you the dearest thing?
Every hour of the day!
Will we always find
Love’s light?
Just Like two ships
Passing in the night!

I often begged and pleaded
For you to drop me a line.
You must have known I needed
To know what was on your mind.
So in frustration I did share
My emotions at the time.
That's not the whole, just part of me,
Just a few words in a rhyme.
But I will never lie to you
About wanting you all the time!
So I got a little vulgar,
When frustration got the best of me.
I am sorry for what I had to say,
But forgive me please when I’m Risque’.

So I got a little risque’,
In a line or two of prose.
That is only just because
I needed you to know,
The answer to some questions,
And this is how it goes,
Will my love for you ever end?
