cant sleep

Your mind can play tricks on you so don't be taken.
Once you think your alone your world starts shakin'.
Your mind fills with memories of your past.
You thought you were over this but the good times never last.
You can clench your blankets and wait for the thoughts to pass.
Or embrace it thanking God its in the past.
These nightmares you have, repeating themselves at night.
Trick you, making you think your not alright.
But when you open your eyes and look around.
Take a deep breath as a tear falls down.
You know at night it will be the same.
You just cant see to get over the pain.
So you stay up for days.
Hoping.... praying.... its will go away.
