Array ( [sid] => 16768 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => why the END ends [time] => 2003-04-30 11:35:00 [hometext] => this poem will leave you thoughtful and
a little scared...

If you're not scared..you should be. [bodytext] => Poem of the acopalypse
Norman Turkel
February 2002

How many times have you heard it said,
Because of religion, I wish you were dead.
T'was said by the arab, t'was said by the Jew'
t'was said by so many and probably you.

Hold it a mo'. Let's give it some thought,
Please consider, t'will bring you up short
One faction or other, the greater the hater
will think of the BOMB, sooner or later.

The first guy to use it will certainly cause
mayhem and murder and death without pause.
This one or that one will want to get back
at those who started this awful attack.

Then one or the other will join the foray,
resulting in horror and pure hell to pay.
The newsies will poll, to get what you think
Matters a nit for the world's on the brink.

They'll total the total and add up the add
and give you an answer which has to be bad.
When you receive it, when you've read thru,
no one will care 'cause you'll be dead, too. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 262 [topic] => 13 [informant] => norm [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

When you lead a horse to the water you can't stop him drinking
