I stalk my prey with a vigilant eye, knowing all enemies.
Seeking refuge from my attack, the mice all flee,
From the highest plateau to the lowest trough, I stand,
Tall and strong with my flowing prowess and humble approach.
I fly through the wind with only time to stop me.
My eyes ache from the chase, but I am still eager to kill,
All that oppose me will fall and tremble in fear,
Full of confidence I now stride against all obstacles.
As I spy my lucky victim I am calm and collected.
My thoughts are all red like the blood spill,
The waters of life rushing through my veins, I dive,
Into the heart of my darkest secrets, I slay with ease.
Covered in scarlet shame I close my eyes to think.
Looking into myself i realise I am not strong as you thought,
Deeply hurt I stagger to my home to contemplate my actions,
In motion I am always aware, but still I travel to my death.

your writing is very abstract. I love it. It makes me think. |
