[bodytext] => For what i have said, for what i have done, All this is put in the past and forgotten. The twisting parallels between life and fantasy, I come undone in this little world i have created, Destroyed, Disturbed and Discouraged, I turn to the light only to be blinded. Where brave men came only to be killed, Where brave men came to die and returned to life. We are not all the same, but similarities bind, Together we fight as we are both struck down. Single blows to the ego make is mere shadows, And i have no sympathy for the living dead, As we are all mindless in our own glory, And may be crushed under mightier beliefs. I may not feel emotion like the animals, But i manipulate and conquer terror with sharp thoughts. Steady the knife that dives into soft flesh, As the pen sleeps beneath quill and ink, We are all prisoners of our own demise, With ghost that follow with silky white complexions. Protesting against the hours wasted dealing with darkness, But when we close our eyes it is all we shall see.
