We all have to smile
Just turn your frown upside down
But to show teeth or not?
Cheesy grin or your fangs out?
Debonair, Bond like, smirk?
Some people have a natural smiley face
I have a face like that

I look so happy and content
With my jovial expression
But all you see is the exterior
Inside sometimes I’m crying
I’m sad, grumpy, ***** off
But I put on a smile anyway

A smile makes the world brighter
Even in dark times
So show me your smile
Once in a while

Again, a one-of-a-kind poem. It's really special and I will try to take your excellent advice. Hard to force a smile -- but I think your poem made me smile -- on the outside... regardless, it made me smile on the inside. It's all terrific, but I especially like the last quatrain... This is a good genre for you -- happy and light-hearted -- and clever; it seems to me your natural way -- the words so easily flow...
