Why do such things happen to me
Living
Only not being who I want to be

Oh Lord
Why do I sometimes feel so blue
Trying to understand
But probably because I don’t confide in you

A severed heart it is for me
Wanting to be happy
I hope this is something you can see.

Oh Lord
Please guide me through the time at hand
Looking for our foot steps
As we walk through the sand

Oh Lord
Your guidance is a precious thing
No matter what day it is
Keep me under your angel’s wing.

Oh Lord
You show me why things happen the way they do
Not always understanding
I still keep my faith in you.

Oh Lord
This is just trial and error in this world I live
I will make it through
Making me much stronger, having much love to give.

Why do such things happen to me
Living
Only not being who I want to be

Oh Lord
Why do I sometimes feel so blue
