He never knew no pleasure
his heart no longer beat inside
for time too long to measure
His name was death and he was dead
too to dead to even feel
his mind was full of troublesom worries
and happiness seemed unreal
then one night he met a woman whose beauty was full of light
he approached her close with shielded eyes
because her presence was so bright
she smiled when she saw him coming
it only made hime wonder
what life would be without no death
or evil lurking under
so he took her by the hand and whispered softly in her ear
"I've been lonely way too long...it feels good to have you near
im blind without you close to me
all i knew was darkness
so i'll hold you close like this awhile
for no longer i feel heartless"
She looked at him with eyes of passion
and whispered "have no fear...
that heart you thought was always absent...
has been waiting just right here...
so take my hand and walk with me...
theres so much for you to see...
the price of life is always death...
but love you have for free".. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 103 [topic] => 2 [informant] => Hooligan785 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
