Life Lessons
Sometimes life lessons are hard to learn,
It’s too easy to make a wrong turn.
The road can be curvy, and the drop-offs steep,
Never at the wheel would you want to sleep.
Keep your fuel levels high, and your windows clear,
Your radio cranked up and your road map near.
Take time to enjoy the scenery along the way,
Don’t put off tomorrow what you can see today.
Keep yourself polished and looking your best,
And at the day’s end take time to rest.
Though the road of life can be a pain in your side,
I think you’ll find it worth the ride.
