as I roll along so easily
the sun, it sets, over again
and I look at you my only friend
and I wonder
what would it be
what roads would you go down
if not for me?

The storm front edges at the ground
faintly, you can hear the sound
of angry friction in the sky
the road goes on for you and I
and I wonder
what would it be
what roads would you go down
if not for me?

The dusty road gives way to rain
washing off the dusty stains
my wipers tested, almost fail
behind the rain there is some hail
and I wonder
what would it be
what roads would you go down
if not for me?

Another car ignores the scene
passing me at speeds extreme
most modern is this awesome beast
making me feel like the least
and I wonder
what would it be
what roads would you go down
if not for me?

I decide, against my will
that you of me have had your fill
I stop the car as you do sleep
and slip away into the deep
So I won't wonder
what it would be
the road you choose is yours
you can't blame me.

I turn around before you wake
and know the future, I can't take
if it's without your glowing smile
So I guess I'll take the storms a while
and so we wander
onward as we
this road is just the way
It's got to be.

I'm really surprised of how poetic you are...but I don't understand so much of what you're trying to portrait in this one.
