Array ( [sid] => 16697 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Vengeful Spirit [time] => 2003-04-29 08:05:00 [hometext] => This is a poem about a warrior in 2,000 BC who got revenge for the death of his friend. [bodytext] => The drums, I hear them banging
Deep in the mountains
The land the gods forgot

The moon, she keeps on shining
High in the heavens
My beacon and my guide

The blood, it keeps on running
Through his dead veins
I draw his sword and march

Forward, I keep moving
My cries and my roar
Echo through the hills

Vengeance, I am seeking
For my brother's death
I'll weep and shed my tears

Here, I stand alone
An army at my feet
But no one by my side

Shaking, I draw my sword
And hold it up high
"Revenge!" I keep shouting

Darkness, I am dying
I failed in my task
