Only because you need to understand with who I'm dealing
For I have been convicted of an amazing concept suddenly
A man has walked into my life and made it heavenly
Ah yes he did it- he made me fall in love

Whatever happened to that lingering sensation of loneliness
That has been obliterated by a new sense of closeness
All that I have come to know has been erased from my mind
All because I have met up with a gentleman in perfect time
I'll admit he did it- he made me fall in love

Now that I have affection to give it has been given back to me
His care and kindness is overflowing and showers me
I'm ever so grateful-will always be thankful- forevermore
For my beloved has bestowed upon me a love to explore
Now I have to admit- I must admit
He did it- he made me fall in love [comments] => 5 [counter] => 218 [topic] => 2 [informant] => Deidra_Carmichael [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

Well written. Ah!, to have to admit that you've fallen for that special someone. I can relate, scary and exciting at the same time.

'He Did It' is a marvelous and joyful and light-hearted and clear-sighted poem. The refrain, i.e., 'He did it -- he made me fall in love' is a great ending for each verse. This poem has song lyrics in it -- the refrain would make a great 'hook.' Wonderful writing.
