like an ocean on land.
A beauty from the wind,
I just lift up my hands.

Giving thanks to my God,
for opening my eyes.
Letting me take this in,
as he hears my steady cries.

Cries of forgiveness,
for i held many sins.
As he washed them away,
he answered with winds.

Showing me he was here,
that i wasnt talking to the sky.
But to our ever loving God,
who weeps as we cry.

Watching the clouds move,
I look with new sight.
The signs of the holy one,
amidst our own fight.

Not just in our heart,
but as well in the air.
He watches with loving eyes,
to see his children are fair.

I stand in the gap,
for family and friends.
Praying for love and peace,
till our very end.

"Lord father and king,
change not others, but me,
and allow my shift
to make them see,
That you are here,
walking in our fight,
Not loosening your grip,
keeping us in your sight.
Bless my family,
my sister and brother,
my friends and foes,
my daddy and mother.
Bless my church,
and the family within,
for we all have a fight,
bless it till the end.
I end this prayer,
knowing we will win,
for your a warrior god,
with our love, AMEN." [comments] => 2 [counter] => 255 [topic] => 11 [informant] => bigj [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChristianPoetry )
