Filled with pain and sorrow I often dreamed the day would come When there would be no more tomorrows I no longer had the strength it takes To struggle through another day I feared I would make more mistakes and hurt those I cared for along the way So I locked myself away and hid from the world again As though my soul had gone astray and I caused myself even more pain But in this time of self-destruction You fought your way through blowing away those clouds of confusion forcing me to admit how much I needed you It took some time to make me see That I was not to blame For what other's had done to me Or for other's pain I am sorry that I didn't see How much I meant to you I am sorry for trying to break free Your wisdom is what helped me through... ...I literally owe my life to you!
