dressed up wolves in stereotypical fits.
Priests of the cross,
selling holy water on the street.
Singing buyers beware, redemption is a stones throw away.

When we walk together, we forget how to hate.
Colour just as it has always been, not a choice, it holds no weight.
Revolutionists sitting on the sidelines, waiting for our next break .
Gods in half priced pews, slowly waiting this unknown fate.

Are you the answer to the problem?
Or are your problems more concerning then the fate of your family,
all seven billion of them.
Are we in need of intervention?
Are we in need of a new invention,
a liquid bliss in 40 ounce form.

We all can walk shoulder to shoulder,
heads strong as we pass the old,
only seeking for something new.
For something that is not controlled,
something designed for me and you.

Where gardens do not equal prison time,
water can be collected and not massed produced.
Where our sense of respect is not given at minimum wage.
Not the smoulders of the sacred sage.
Homes for bankruptcy and rent,
the new slumlords harvesting any cent.

My word this caught my eye (actually both of them wouldn't leave the page)! Dear poet you have a good head on your shoulders and I agree times are very tough- then again the poor are always with us so they will probably always be tough. All we can do is wait for the next life where nothing is run on currency. Keep writing and God bless,
Deidra

Not many are aware of the fascist/communist=dictatorship
movement which has been progressively implicated
this passage is rife with what should be alarming references
as we sit back in our bliss(ignorance)
and technology replaces and controls us
he who controls the machine controls the money
and so on
well we were warned
needless to say this was a powerful passage
