To play now only darkness
Hangs and Somber stays

Everything still looks the same
But everything changed
Laughter changed places
New faces replaced old faces
How i long
Still to see
Some of the people
That looked so well after me

Faces i have embraced
Walks like lonely ghosts
Up and down my corridors
I can hear them whisper at night
Or maybe,,,, I just want to hear them
That's the way I escape

Eyes of long ago
Hangs like portraits
On my not so shiny old walls
They wink at me
When I hold them together
But,,,they are eyes
That belong to my past
People I knew
Such a long long time ago

I can only live
On their memories

I'm just an old house
But boy if I could talk
What a bestseller

I can whole heartedly say this poem is beautiful
in that it conjured some irreplaceable memories
the kind that make your heart sing, of youth, of innocence,
of a time where nothing could bring you down
the artistic components are immaculate as well
fantastic read
