it is unto her own that my words are lent
Gifting her with life through words so bold~
that she might survive once I am spent...

Still if she is me than not myself am I~
yet with a kindred grace we brave such storms
While her eyes shed the tears I cry~
We remember what it is to be warm...

So were I to once more breathe life into her~
would she again be able to save me
Plying pen to paper as my soul stirs~
& I begin to believe...perhaps...maybe...

I can be rather shy & self~effacing, but, when I write, I can become any one of the many things inside me...anonymously & therefore boldly..."she" is me when I write, but, I haven't written in so very long...

Thank you for wanting to know...

This Poem truly speaks to my heart. I gather that the speaker is having trouble finding herself- her true self that she may have concealed by a facade. She still show signs of her former self although she has changed very much. Thank you for sharing this imagination stirring piece,
Deidra

Holeeee. Crap!!!! Kerry, my beautiful poetsis!! How I've missed you.

I just don't have the time right now that this poem (and you) completely deserve. But suffice it to say you have managed a lump in my throat and my heart with this one.

So glad to see you posting again. Missed you and I will return to this when I have time to do it justice.

Always a pleasure and an honour. ;)

Hugs times a billion!

~ Breezy
