To enter and lock my room would mean nothing and nobody could mess with my thoughts.
But then there is fear of myself.
I would be free from the world and the inabnormal stresses, but would lose control and still, be trapped in a world full of general insecurity.
So, I walked on down the hall.
Watching the flickering lights give their last purposeful identity.
Another door, different from the last caught my eye.
It was used and scarred, but had more of a story.
Walking through this would mean I would be free to the world with an identity and the security of others insecurity to share.
So i opened that door, stepped through, locked it and left the key in the lock for the next unfortunate soul to have to make a choice at those forkroads [comments] => 3 [counter] => 164 [topic] => 48 [informant] => parrot_cliche [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

This is an excellent and brilliant write! I love the way you have such descriptiveness in your writing! Keep the pen and key strokes happening!
