Array ( [sid] => 166643 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Kittens Delight [time] => 2011-06-27 18:55:49 [hometext] => The kitten was mine I really named him that.He became part of my fairy poems I like to write. He died with his head in my slipper. [bodytext] => Sunshine Blueberry Bumble Bee
Lived in the forest, and loved to climb trees
He would scamper as high as can be
Climb and climb where no one can see
He'd come across a squirrel or two

Sunshine Blueberry Bumble Bee
Learnt new games, way up that high tree
Where two little squirrels stayed
Bushy Tail and Cheek A Boo
That little grey kitten with eyes so bright
Played and played until the night

When the stars, peeped through the leaves
He knew that it was time to leave
He said goodbye Bushy Tail and Cheek A Boo
Scampered down that big tall tree
Ever so careful now, Sunshine Blueberry Bumble Bee
Home to the fairies, Tippy Toes, and Baby Blue
Waiting in their cosy home, for the kitten
That loves to climb trees

In he runs and purrs with delight
Drinks his milk in a bowl, in the centre of the room
That's shining so bright with fairy lights
Fairy delights, home at night cosy and warm
Tucked up tight in a basket, fresh cool breeze
Twinkling stars, new fresh leaves cover him
To keep him warm, snuggly tight
The fairies kitten, fairies delight
Sunshine Blue berry Bumble Bee.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
