[hometext] => A poem about a not-so heart-broken lover.
[bodytext] => Weeping my eyes out, heart wrenched painfully You swept up my life, left me fishing aimlessly I'm lost here without you, stricken and alone But wait, is that a ringing I hear on the phone? I dart to its side, breath fleeing in a gust I halt just long enough to appear nonplussed I pat my hair down to mask its disarray But when I pick up it's not you who says, "Hey!" The ground sweeps up to meet me, and I to it To a doleful fit, myself I submit Is this my sweet end, the cruel world begone? No longer a living facade to dawn? My death is not nigh, though, I'm happy to tell Without you, I'm not fixed in some ever-burning hell In fact, I'm quite happy without your foul stench So, so-long and screw you, if you'll pardon my French.
