amongst the black wilted roses
littered on the floor

tiptoeing softly
through the broken bones
attempting to heal...

blood drips silently
from a crack in the ceiling
into a crystal lake

a cobweb of dreams
sits on a shelf
collecting like a magnet

white lace protrudes from her wrists
a black velvet coat touches her ankles

a blade of love
presents itself
and plunges deep
into the unknown
slicing the world in which she lives
breaking open the gates
of despair that she is accustomed to
and allowing a river of life to flow
~cascading on darkness
and begating the light

she still hugs her black rose
her velvet robes and dark musick
for they are who she is
but
she now also embraces
the light which appears
under the door

very abstract, good imagery. The reader is able to picture the scene as you want, while still having room for their own creativity to peek through occasionally.

Beautiful beyond compare, such a flowing poem with an intense rythem to it.
The picture was so vivid it was like being there watching the scene unfold right through to the conclusion.
Excellent write Ladydrama.
