[title] => The Hole that Was Your Love
[time] => 2011-04-29 11:05:21
[hometext] => This poem is about a girl who was too scared to let me go because she was afraid of breaking my heart. She kept me around for years while I thought our love was even on both sides,leaving me more vulnerable than ever when she left out of the blue.
[bodytext] => There is a hole in my world, right where you used to stand Before you left me, broke me, and everything else that you had planned There is a hole in my bedroom floor where you used to sit But I've learned to avoid it on my own, always walking around it There is a hole in my heart from where you left without a fight A hole in my heart that i still fall back in sometimes at night But now that you're gone, your silence says everything How could I care for so long, I would've given you anything You told me you were happy, you said this was the upswing Until I found out all in one moment you lied about everything For today I am strong, but I never know what tonight will bring And my sadness slowly flies away on the back of father time's wing Every second your absence beats inside me like a drum Breaking me, shaping me, making me what I've become For all you ever were, not a lover but a liar In your absence I grow stronger; my source of balance growing wider Sometimes when i look at my floor the hole is barely even there, I'd tell you all this, what you did to me, but you'd barely even care.
