[hometext] => A poem about how construction is such an obstruction to the conduction of a nature walk.
[bodytext] => Look at the tinkle, warble, tweet. Feel the whoosh, hush, hum. See the murmur, whisper, splash. Don't pay attention to the snap, slam, boom. Ignore the snarl, thud, hiss. Focus on the hoo, coo, buzz. Perhaps the whack, beep, clank Overpowers the gurgle, swoosh, twinkle, But try to block out that squeal, scratch, thump. Forget that crash, crackle, pop. Find the purr, quack, ribbit. Lose the roar, whip, yowl. Not the wham, clunk, bam; It's the bubble, burble, fizz, But yet there's the honk, screech, yelp. That kurplunk, sarumph, whip Really drowns out nature's tibbur, roo-coo, clickety-clack. What a bang, bonk, splat.
