[hometext] => Revelation of the Lord to Sister Faustina, now Saint Faustina , a Polish Nun
[bodytext] => Sunday, May 1st is the Feast of Divine Mercy Oh inexhaustible Mercy Divine! Oh ocean, Mercy's throne and Mercy's sea, No saint nor sage could venture to define This mystery of the Holy Tinity. Behold the Saviour's glorious streams of rays,! Rays crimson red and snow- white crystalline, His Mercy's rays sent forth in streams of grace And promise of His Mercy great Divine. Baptism - white rays,- as the Christian is Made one and merge with His fair bride, The church the holder of His promises, Christ's bride, salt of th earth and earth's light. The red rays are the Holy Eucharist, The Lovers' all sustaining sacrament, Participation in the lasting glorious feast And of His banquet that will never end., But for all mankind's love the Lord does thirst 'I thirst' He said while deying on the tree, Before His heart was spear-thrust pierced and burst He'd said 'I'll draw all mankind unto me'. But lately He assured a humble nun That men must tell Him ' Lord I trust in Thee' 'T'is trust in Jesus and His mercy's throne That will determine mankind's destiny'. HE will illuminate the ignorant, That in some other creeds are blind and lame, So that they come at last to understand. Und understanding praise His Holy Name.
