A thousand years, my love,
a thousand words,
to bide me and guide me
through these storms
that blow our way

A thousand days, my love,
a thousand fears,
have passed between us,
separated and washed,
all that we have been

A thousand doubts, my love,
a thousand hurts
that tried to take me,
to make me forget you
and all you are

A thousand tears, my love,
a thousand sighs,
could not come near
to prove my love...
not even in a thousand years.

Well, what can I say? It is brilliantly thought out and simply, beautifully, executed. Well done.

I saw this today and at first, I wondered how in the hell I missed this. Then I see the date it was posted and remember, oh yeah, I was in hell.

There is obviously beauty in this poem but what makes it seem more beautiful to me is it sort of reminds me of soul mates reuniting over the millennium through each new life they share in reincarnation. After I read the first stanza, I could see images of centuries past and future beginnings.

Me likes!

Luff,

Timmers
